TC PIANO

Tessa is a classically trained pianist with extensive experience in performance, teaching, and accompaniment. Beyond the piano, she previously played the clarinet in her school’s symphonic band.

 

After obtaining her Grade 8 Practical from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), she went on to receive her Diploma in Piano (ATCL) from Trinity College London (TCL) under Dr. Andjelita Zeng in 2019.

 

Tessa completed her Bachelor’s degree at LASALLE College of the Arts, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Classical Piano Performance under the tutelage of Mr. Frank DeMeglio.

 

She was awarded the Gold Award (Diploma & Above Category) at the Asia Arts Festival 2022 and a Silver Award at the Le Petit Piano Festival in the same year. She also served as the accompanist for violinists Xin Jie and Song Min, who went on to win First Place at the American Protégé International Competition and the Gold Award at the Singapore Performing Arts Festival, respectively.

In 2023, Tessa founded Monty Piano Studio and currently serves as its Director, driving the school’s mission to deliver well-designed, forward-thinking piano programmes for learners of all ages.
